Global-Mark
Global-Mark has provided certification for Commonwealth and state-based human services programs since 2005, building significant expertise in the human services and disability sector through nearly two decades of dedicated service to the sector. As an Approved Quality Auditor, Global-Mark undertakes both Certification and Verification audits against the NDIS Practice Standards, supported by a stable, skilled and experienced team of staff, client managers and technical experts who audit service providers across Australia.
The organisation's distinctive approach to certification reflects their commitment to being different from traditionally conventional and conservative certification organisations, with this difference reflected in their structure, culture, systems and approach to working with clients. Global-Mark's primary focus centres on supporting NDIS Providers to ensure the National Disability Insurance Scheme succeeds and achieves positive outcomes for people with disability, demonstrating commitment to the broader objectives of the NDIS beyond simple compliance assessment.
Their comprehensive auditor qualifications ensure all auditors complete, at minimum, Quality Management System Lead Auditor courses, NDIS Mandatory Auditor Training, and are scoped according to their experience, qualifications and NDIS requirements. Global-Mark maintains sound systems to support and assist auditors, which in turn supports and assists clients to enhance organisational performance, service quality and participant involvement through comprehensive audit processes.
Global-Mark's certification process involves thorough, independent third-party review against NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators conducted in accordance with NDIS Approved Quality Auditor Scheme requirements. Their two-stage certification process includes Stage One off-site audits reviewing provider self-assessments and associated documents to ensure adequate preparation for Stage Two audits whilst identifying potential non-conformities, followed by Stage Two audits typically conducted on-site to evaluate effectiveness and implementation of provider systems.
The organisation's verification services provide desktop independent review against Module 6 of NDIS Provider Registration and Standards, requiring providers to demonstrate compliance in four key areas including Human Resources, Incident Management, Complaints Management, and Risk Management. Global-Mark's comprehensive approach to participant involvement in certification audits follows opt-out sampling methodology, ensuring participant voices are heard whilst respecting individual preferences regarding audit participation through documented consent processes.
