The importance of keeping NDIS payments accurate

Navigating the NDIS Price Guide can be tricky, but it’s important to make sure that you get it right. As a registered NDIS provider, you are responsible for ensuring that you are complying with the price limits and arrangements in the NDIS Price Guide.

The NDIA monitors provider payment requests to make sure claims correctly align with the services delivered. For example, providers should only claim for the number of hours of support actually delivered. However, it’s not only face-to-face time that providers are able to claim for, there may be non-face-to-face supports that you may eligible for, such as writing reports.

COVID normal support measures

There are still some COVID normal support measures currently in place that you should be aware of. Make sure you keep up-to-date of the start and end dates of these temporary COVID-19 support items in your area, so that you aren’t caught out.

From time to time, the NDIA will contact providers who may have an error in a payment request and they will ask you to review your requests and correct any errors.
